CHNGES faculty member Pat Kambesis and several undergraduate and graduate students are working to characterize sinkhole occurrences in Warren County, Kentucky and conduct risk analysis of different types of sinkhole occurrences. Although this project was started in Warren County, we are hopeful it will be expanded to other sinkhole-prevelant regions in the U.S. and possibly even internationally. Oh, and that famous Corvette Sinkhole Collapse, yeah, we mapped that and served on the remediation team.
